Give it some ‘Unicorn Dance Moves’

Hi friends, happy Sunday! Today is very wet here so it’s the perfect day for spending time crafting. I’m sharing such a cute and adorable card that I’ve made using Unicorn Dance Moves from Polka Dot Orchard

Just check out all those sentiments and that Unicorn doing the Dab! Perfect for making fun cards and great for kids cards. I’m making this for a 6 year old in mind.

I started by creating my background on my photo editor app and printing onto smooth white 300gsm card from Papermill Direct and colouring in with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens

Next I printed off the Unicorn, rainbow and 2 of the sentiments from the set ‘SPARKLE like a unicorn’ and ‘Unicorn DANCE moves’

Coloured in the unicorn and rainbow then fussy cut them inc the sentiments, added some shimmer by using the Wink of Stella.

Then I used the Slim Film City Dies from Mama Elephant, I used some bright pink card. The film die was used to cut 3 layers of white card and one bright pink card. Glued them all together for added dimension.

Layered my card together then adhered the unicorn, rainbow and sentiments with foam tape and this completes my card.

At time of publication this set is on sale, why not pop over to Polka Dot Orchard and grab some of those sets that you have been wanting.

That’s all for today, thanks for stopping by and keep safe everyone. Happy Crafting

Magical handmade card-Be A Unicorn|Polka Dot Orchard

Hi friends, what a wonderful day we are having today. It’s very warm, the sun is shining and the lockdown is starting to ease. I stay right on the doorstep of a country park so my son and I went for a walk through the woods. It was so lovely to be able to do that again 🥰

Hope your all enjoying the ease of lockdown!

You can grab this stunning stamp set here ➡️ Be A Unicorn from Polka Dot Orchard This set has been Illustrated by the talented Jeanie Hays

Today I am sharing this magical mystical being, as soon as I saw this set, I had to have it. It takes me back to my childhood and one of my favourite movies ‘The Last Unicorn’. I could watch this cartoon movie over and over 🥰

Printed onto Neenah Solar Crest Card and Coloured with my Promarkers

The unicorn is very easy to colour, just go over all the artists lines with a light grey marker to enhance the lines and this also enhances the white of the unicorn. The mane and tail can be coloured in many different ways, I chose the rainbow effect.

Sentiment ~ Be a Unicorn in a field of Horses ~ printed onto vellum

I made my own stencils for creating the clouds and the hilly background. Made out of cardstock. I used a pencil to mark out my designs (used a circular object for clouds) and then cut it out.

I used distress oxide inks for my background, adhered onto black cardstock using double sided tape and that is my card finished, I have left the top of the card with no other embellishments as I shall leave it in my card stash for future.

The sentiments in this stamp set are wonderful and I love the fonts on them. I hope you like my card and I would love to hear what your favourite childhood movie was 🎥

Thanks for stopping by
